Can you not feel the glory of the flesh? Do you not yearn to be free of the tyranny of the individual?

Ah! That was the line I was looking for. I wanted to say a XERXES line, but I couldn't remember what he said. He wasn't exactly the most talkative character ^^'

Awesome rendition! I kinda wish there was an HD remake of SS2, because I can't take those blocky NPCs seriously - especially not Goggles himself...dear god! -.-;
Those hybrids and XERXES in the back look both hilarious and awesome at the sametime, though. Very expressive, in a way.

Firstly I apologize for the late reply. Secondly I thank you for the kind words. The picture is very cartoony (hence the hilarity and expressiveness), but I don't think it's too disrespectful to the source material.
And yes SS2 could use a remake, but if it ever happens, it needs to be done by someone, who can do it justice (I've seen way too many remakes/ HD remasters which were terrible).

"L.l.l.l.l.look at you, hacker.ssss. A pathetic creature of meat and bone"
I enjoy playing it much more than latest Bioshock Infinite.

It certainly still stands strong despite it's age.

You can say that pretty much about any game made in the 90s till the 2004

tell me about it. Infinite's gameplay was okay, but the story was such a Mindf*ck that I think it hit the lowest point in all Shock games. And I still have a collection of games on CD with a Windows XP that can run them.

I didn't like the story in Infinite at all. At first it was ok, but as soon as they've started goind into this multi dimensional thing i started getting disappointed cause for me shock games were always about a person trapped somewhere, and even though there were supernatural elements, they were only related to ghosts that showed you some story progression and nothing more than that. In the end i couldn't understand the story of Infinite to its full extent and i just didn't feel like going through the game aigan just to understand everything.

Today, I think SS2 is the best one of the whole saga, at least for me. I just get this thrill when SHODAN tasks you with kicking the Many's ass, like "Oh yeah, let's do it!"; Plus, the upgrade system is much more diverse, leaving room for a lot of replay value. I have yet to enlist in the O.S.A. myself. The Bioshock trilogy just seems to make gameplay and choices narrower and narrower as they progress, and they lose a pratical story arc.
Although the downsides for SS2, personally would be A) The interface is a pain to get used to, almost more so than its barely known predecessor; and B) We're left on a screwy cliffhanger with Tommy Suarez and his idiotic Rebecca Siddons still out in that escape pod.

Hmm, i actually like the interface in SS2, i like how complicated it is, feels like you're actually working with a software. I don't really like simple interface you see in games these days, because there's no depth to learning them, everything is obvious from the first glance. Just my personal preference though.

I understand. I think the first FPS game I ever played was Half-Life 2.
