page 17feel issue one should end here really
but I can only print the comic at 16 or 20 pages, no in between so I'm not sure what to do here
any suggestions?
(the issue with the box edges has already been fixed in the print version but its on my USB which i don't have handy right now sorry)

I'm not sure if you've solved the problem but maybe add a page of thanks and some concepts of these two? That would set you at 20 pages.Β

ah yes, I need to add an "about page as well, though Β i'm still working on extra pages having panels with humans in makes it stressful for me since I cant draw them and need to get outside help.
i did have the character info pages though.
i think i might add Β a full page spread somewhere as well since it would be nice to have one

Someone else suggested it; why not have a blank page and then add in some little artworks before the next chapter? I've seen it done in some Batman comics I've read and I loved seeing them. c:

I have to build up a whole seen with them discussing freedom and sunlight and then blank wants finds a way to escape just because he wants to gaze out a window to see what the outside world looks like
only after all that do the people in the lab take enough interest in blank to start neurological testing since they take his ability to escape as interesting display of intelligence
of course shale helps him do this escape so its kind of his fault too but they only catch blank...

HNG the part with the water bottle happens all the time with my rats! They may push each other aside or give each other accidental licks fighting for a drop. XD

my boys fight over water all the time even though there is plenty they always decide they are thirsty at the same time

It's smart you're doing that; the things Ben and Loki seem to do are common rat things; even the time one of them got into that log cake, am I right? And when one of them took a whole piece of paper into the cage; my rats have done both of those things. Nice job with the comic; you're doing great!

I think maybe for the last 4 pages you could maybe put a few pages or artwork/fan characters, or maybe some exclusive RiaL drawings by you. I don't really know...

this is a bit off topic, but oh my gosh do i want a pet rat. what are they like?

they are the best pet
I don't know how else to put it XD
they are as smart as a dog (they can learn tricks and to come when you call their name)
but they like also behave like cats? (my rats like to play with act toys and chase feathers but they also like to sit and be stroked and can be litter trained (though mien aren't because I left training to late)
they are just adorable that's really all i can say~
though they require quite a bit more attention than a hamster or gerbil since they like being pout and exploring and playing with people.
you also have to keep them in pairs at least or they get lonely.
they get a lot of bad rep but they are actually the cleanest and friendliest of rodents too!
