Hey look I gave him a purple collar,
I hate myself for doing that but I've decided to make it become red due to blood shed, that way I still win..right? (also someone commented that on one of my videos sooo...sounded like a good idea)
I'm keeping his funky paw and tail and blue-ness though
(though i will say a good friend of mine pointed out that a kitten collar would not fit an adult cat no matter how runty and thus scourges collar should be deeply embedded in his neck if it is the same collar-so I am also going to do that too x3

I have never thought of the collar before hmmm. Maybe since he is a runt it was really big on him and he grew into it? I don't know just throwing ideas out there

well you wouldn't put a collar really loose on a kitten and he tried getting it off with the dog tooth it wouldn't come off.
heck you can get kitten collars that fit ferrets soo...

Yesgood. In some Erin Hunter interview or something it was stated that Scourge's collar was way too tight and the other side of the claws and such on it were digging into his neck, causing his voice issues and it was actually pretty badly infected/he hated it so much.

Ooh, thanks for uploading these - some of the frames went by really fast in he video and it's nice to be able to look at them as stills. Beautiful, simplistic backgrounds here. I love them. And the spotted touches on his white parts make for an interesting new look.

the collar would not become red due to bloodshed. it would become a rust-brown, as that is the color of dried blood. However, the back of the collar would probably remain purple, as it would not be exposed to blood.
what does happen after wearing a collar for a while, is that it rubs the fur down, creating a bald spot around the neck. The fur eventually grows back, but not for a while.
as for the drawing itself, the actual features of the cat are hard to see because you use the same color black overall. Perhaps use a gradient and/or shade for highlights/shadows on the fur itself, as real black fur does have its highlights and shadow.
Also, cats have a distinguishable black iris and they do have whites. I understand artistic license, but his features were hard to make out and I am just trying to help.

I know blood wouldn't make a collar actually red,(in fact a harsh build up of blood eventually becomes a rusted black colour anyway) but it is a good enough excuse to make it so, since enough people moan about me making it red instead of purple I thought I'd try a way that would make everyone happy.
his fur isnt actually the same shade of black as his outline however I understand that may be hard to see on some computers which have a lower brightness(he is actually tinted blue in this overall)But again I have had multiple complaints about him being too bright in colour before so i guess you can't win em all.
as for the eyes, its just for simplicity and to not scare people way who hate change since a lot of my fans will complain of the style change overall its just better to give them what they are used to and it makes it easier for me as detail will only become time consuming overall, the same reason shading is avoided overall.
as with the collar it would eventually imbedded in his neck because kitten collars would strangle an adult cat, heck plenty of dogs that have been left tied up and abandoned have had to have surgery to remove embedded collars, with the collar having togs teeth poked through it as well can only add to this factor, and simply I want to add a gory twist to it...
to be honest my animations are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to the quality of my work, something I have not failed to notice but I simply don't have reason or time to perfect them beyond what they are-which is just a bit of fun!
but thanks for trying to help out anyway! I know it does take out of your time to even bother to help me out and I am not ungrateful for that!

Yea.. but scourge is super small.. he is only apprentice sized.. and my kitten has reached that size.. so basically the color would still be a perfect fit.. people make him huge when he is actually quite small..

because no matter how small they say scourge is
a full grown cat no matter how small or runty simply wouldn't be able to wear a kitten collar, collars simply aren't made to a one size fits all.(and besides the size of an apprentice is never truly stated and some apprentice cats would be bigger than others) also it stands to reason that if scourge was a smaller kit then he would already have a smaller collar than an average kit or have it on a tighter setting.
believe me , it was my friend that explained this to me , heck you can get kitten collars that almost fit ferrets XD

YES! Thank you! Someone else notices that Scourge's collar would probably be strangling him by now! XD I thought I was the only one who notcied that. XD Really good artwork as always Flighty, great job, Scourge's design (especially the nice white patterns on his tail and paw) and the video looks good. Hope you'll finish it.
