let's see a constructive critique...well i shall do my best, but I hope it won't be too harsh > ^ <
It's cute over all and I love the color choice along where the shades go. The body is slightly slanted to the right, it needs to be moved a bit more to the left. I can see the line where the head ends on the right and the right eye is popping off it. This causes the hair to look lop sided making one side look heavier than the other. I know proportion on chibis are awkward to place so this is actually rather difficult to critique , but umm her arms seem a bit lengthy in comparison to her legs and torso. I can see the clothes are slightly elevated to the right well rather they occupy more room to the right. The riffles cover the under arm area and does not on the left. The same applies for the sleeves. The one on the right is higher than the one on the left. The slant from left being lower than the right tends to apply to drawing as a whole except for the eyes and face. The shine on the hair is alright, though it can be improved. The pigtails look heavier on the left than the right, as the right the hair appears thinner and higher in comparison to the pigtail on the left. Be sure to add more shades on the hat (depending on your light source you can also add more highlights) its hard to tell its a jester's hat at first glance. The ribbon on her hand doesn't have to face the audience since hands do not either at a front view. At front view the ribbon usually is at a side, same goes for the hand. That is depending on where/how the hand is positioned and the ribbon. Shading like I said is rather good and highlight in the hair as well. But, don't forgot to add shade where you shaded the skin. Ex. the right arm. I can see the shade on her arm perfectly (well placed too ) but I cannot see it on her sleeve. So don't forget the shades on the clothes. One last thing. The shade on the whites of the eyes doesn't have to be black/gray try shades of blue, explore your options. Try flipping the canvas horizontally, vertically, 90 degree counter clockwise etc. till you are satisfied with it on all angles. If need be ask a fresh set of eyes (someone who hasn't seen your drawing yet XD) to see if they spot something you might have missed. Welp that's all from me.
