I made this reference for my OC, Mire, back in September. At the time I made it, it was the most elaborate ref I came up with yet, with shading on the face to imply old age, specks of dirt to make him look less cartoonish and intensify his dull and gritty appearance, and dry mud stains on his lower legs to insinuate frequent travel and a lack of cleanliness. He wouldn't be a MudWing if he was clean, right? His wing membranes are also one of the most impressive ones I've made yet, but sadly I can't remember how to accurately recreate them.
