He stood on the edge of the mountain and looked down. “After

this” he said “I will be able to start my Holy War… but first I must go get her” He

jumped off the edge without looking back.

Karo woke up in the early morning fog around the camp fire he and

his friend lit last night. The night before was wild. He remembered his girlfriend

as well as “Nightblade’s.” Nightblade not being his real name of course… rather

but a code name made up merely for this operation. Karo, Nightblade, Alias,

Luna and Moon were all on one mission. They had to stop their secret identities

as Holy Warriors from getting out to the public. For if that was to happen, all hell

may literally break lose. Nightblade’s sources had told them of the whereabouts

of the only man on earth who knew who they really were. This man was a

childhood friend of Karo and Nightblade’s his name was Fox. How he came

about to know their true purpose was beyond Karo, hell the fact than Nightblade

knew was beyond Karo.

“The air seems to get thicker over here” Nightblade said “I think

we’re getting closer.” Karo got up and looked in the direction Nightblade was

pointing. “Go and get your girlfrie…err…” he begins as he remembered they

were not supposed to talk of personal matters “…I mean go and get Alias as

well as Luna and take off on the left flank of the enemy, Moon and I shall come

around on the other side.” Karo quickly told Nightblade.

They all took off running in there respected ways, each of them

seeing the house within seconds. Karo came upon the only door first, followed

by Moon, Nightblade Alias and Luna. He looked around, thinking about each of

his friends… there was Nightblade, whom he had been friends with since

childhood. There was Moon, slender, and very pretty, reminding Karo of why he

loved her so much. Than Alias, Nightblade’s girlfriend, Karo was very unsure of

how they met, he was sure it had something to do with a trip to Tokyo or

something of that nature. Than there was Luna, who seemed to hold a grudge

agaist Nightblade for some reason or not, however it was always the mission,

there was never enough time for her to fight.

Nightblade busted down the door and charged in with out a care in

the world. He heard noises in the back of the house as he, Moon, Alias and Luna

entered the house. Alias and Luna took off after Nightblade, leaving Karo and

Moon to take up the rear. ‘Why were they in such a hurry?” Karo asked Moon,

who answered with a simple shrug. Karo checked the edges of each room as

they came to them; there was no furniture, no nothing. It was almost as if the

house was unoccupied. Karo went to the back of the house where Alias, Luna

and Nightblade went off to. He entered the room, and Nightblade let out a

laugh, “you inspecting fool, didn’t you see that you were helping out your

enemy this whole time? I am your opposing force, I AM THE Satan. I will wage

Holy War on earth, and I WILL WIN. Than he saw what he never wanted to see,

Luna, Alias and Fox, working together in a pincer attack to take him down,

before the achieved there goal, Moon grabbed his arm, and they phase Shifted

away from the house.

"Well moon..." karo began in the privacy of their home, "I think it all

went off without a hitch." "Me too" moon answere him as he sat back down in

his chair. "All we do now is wait," he said, "Nightblade, Alias and Luna will find

out for us soon enough."

It was a clever plan, he thought to himself. Why not let Ali, Luna, and

Night join with Fox as an informent? Soon enough Fox's cover woulda been

blown, so, for good measure and backup in case of an encounter, let them team

up with the "bad" guys. This Holy War was practigly in the bag. However Karo

knew that the Dark could solve just about anything, hell, they were lucky the

Dark hasn't figured out a way to release..."The First," Karo yelled. "thats what

they had in store for us!" "What?!" Moon replied Karo rushed out the door "I

love you, if i need you, you'll know." He left without looking back.

"God!" moon said to no one, "I hate it when he does that! Why do i

still love him, even after he does that! He just runs off leaving a poor love lust

girl alone!" She begin thinking aloud, " What if the PastaPirate came, or the

worse Opivy. Perhaps she'd get lucky and the mild manner Froho would come.

It wouldn't matter either way, none of them would ever come here...." it wasn't

tht she was afriad, as much as it was her want to be with Karo.

"Wonder what he ment by the First...?" moon thought. But she didn't

think the thought for long, before falling asleep in the warmth of the chair Karo

was sitting in.

                 Karo ran off down the streetto the local bakery. He stepped though

the door, and stepped imeditly to the back of the room, pushing an unoticed

combaation into the pop machine that he was standing in front of, which slid

back gently to revel an elevator. Karo was the only one who knew about the

elevator and the pop machine. As the elevator carried him down, he noticed the

sleeping gas, which was a safty mechanism to protect agaist intruders. The

elevator stopped, and Karo took a breth that he had been holding forever, or so

it seemed. He looked out into the middle of the circular room, and at the glass

container in the middle. He came closer to the contaier, and slowly circled it

making sure there were no broken parts in it. The container was empty, minus

the mass of blackness at the bottom. It was The First. The very same First, that

everyone had thought to be destroyed, but in reality it was only contained, and

the only one's who know about it was Karo, and the Big Boss. As Karop got

closer to The First, it seemed to grow more aware of his presence. Even though

it was a mass of black mass, Karo had seen The First in action. It had

remarkable abitlities. Karo had studied it, he had followed it, and led to its

capture. If it was to ever get free again, there would be Hell on Earth. The First

was the only being capable of rasing true Hell, and the only being that was

capable of travelling from Terra, being the holy capital of the universe,  and

Earth, supposed living Hell,  without any reprocussions.

"Well perhaps it was nothing, and its good your still here," Karo

seemed to be talking to The First, "you make me wonder sometimes, and i

swear, one day, we will banish you. You are too much of a threat to be kept

here, and too much of a threat to let you stay in Terra." The First seemed to

look at him in a questionable manner. " Oh you wonder how we knew about

Terra, yes, we know, i followed you there, and you never knew, it was beyond

your power to know." Karoo walked back to the elevator and thought. "it was

odd, ever since The First went to Terra and back, it seemed to lose every bit of

power, which my be why it was captured so easy.
