Let's just say that I don't understand how it could be so hard to criticize or critique something without letting your emotions get to you, especially on something as divisive as The Hobbit trilogy. For example, I never saw a trailer for The Emoji Movie, yet people treated it like all ten plagues at once. How could something with what sounds to be an unrisky but still harmless premise garner far more hatred than The Room? That is what I'd like to know. Going back to The Hobbit trilogy, when I told him that the Extended Edition special features are the best way to understand why the people did what they did, he didn't believe me.
