Description This mockup was made to accompany an appropriate arrangement I made of the music that plays in this area, that being Strange Slavic Cartoon.

I created this mock-up by scaling down many of the graphics except for the HUD, Klempodrome and of course Čeda himself, whose graphics needed to be redrawn by hand instead, as the results of just scaling them down are less than ideal.

All graphics were recolored to fit the Genesis color limitations (61 total colors on screen at once comprised of four 16 color palettes with one background color shared by each, all pulled from a 512-color pool), so the 'props', the ground tiles and the Poor 4 Appartament itself share the same palette, plus Čeda and Klempodrome also share one palette, etc.

The Poor 4 Appartament itself also utilizes a dithering effect to simulate more colors, something that works best on composite and RF video. This was a frequently used technique in many games from the Genesis/Mega Drive era, though it was used more often on that particular system than on its competitors, due to the 61-colors-at-once limitation of the Genesis/Mega Drive.
An SNES counterpart to this mockup would have more accurate colors to the original Čeda Čedović due to its 16 palettes of 16 colors giving 256 colors on-screen at once, at the cost of only being 256 pixels wide as opposed to 320.
