Description
After 2 weeks roughly drawing every evening, here is the result.
14 little chibi Shampoos showing the different aspects of her personality. About 1 per night that I drew.
I was very excited to finish this and it's been a lot of fun to draw. I've put quite a lot of effort into it. The bike and dim sum cart have been particularly difficult to draw.
Thanks to Lemau and kittyocean for helping out with a bit of feedback and inspiration.
I've been in a weird mood these days. Sort of a creative overload and I've been reading a bit of Shampoo fan-fiction (particularly NeedRepairs 's "A Midsummer Night's Beauty"). Not able to withhold the urge to draw Shampoo again, here I am with another piece.
Here is the list of images:
- Delivery! [She delivers food on her bike and often runs over people with it (mostly Ranma). Drawing the bike was a lot of work. But I'm quite happy with it. I redid it a couple of times.]
- Dim Sum    [One I've been wanting to draw for a while. I love dim sum.]
- Ramen    [Shampoo is a waitress. The Neko Hanten is quite popular because of her.]
- Kick!       [Shampoo is strong. I've always seen her as the equivalent of Ranma in the female cast in terms of strength. So, gotta have her fighting here.]
- Curious [I've always liked when she made this face in the series. Especially in the manga.]
- Chui Attack! [Using her weapon of choice. Two super heavy maces (Melon hammers) she will use to beat her opponents.]
- So Happy! [One thing I love about her character is that she just can't hide her feelings. And she's very cheerful.]
- Sexy [She's confident, uninhibited and doesn't hesitate to use her looks to obtain what she wants.]
- Sword Dance [Another image about her fighting skills.]
- Neko Shampoo [Shampoo turns into a cat when splashed with cold water. I'm quite proud of this image because I usually have a lot of trouble drawing animals.]
- Love Struck [Once again, she just can't hide her feelings. She'll often put herself in trouble because of her feelings for Ranma. This one was difficult. I drew a few different poses before I settled with the classic.]
- Sad [An image expressing how her story with Ranma is sad.]
- Mad [When she's mad, she sometimes does this pose which I find cute. That's when she becomes dangerous. ]
- Sleep [An image I added at the last minute because it reminds of the first episodes she appeared in when she sneaked inside Ranma's room to sleep next to him.]
Shampoo is such a great character, I could discuss this for hours. Unfortunately, nobody cares. So just consider this image my way of expressing all that stuff somehow.
