Description
Here is a screenshot of the battle against TankMan.As you probably knew, I've remade the entire tileset since the first TankMan video about 1 year ago.
EDIT: TankMan's sprites have been updated.
Please ask me before using any of my pictures.
I don't own the MegaMan series. It belongs to CAPCOM.

So, Megaman's face is kinda placed in front of his sprite and rendered separately so he can have Transparent, Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue and White for his colors right?

Precisely, yes. He and some bosses have that effect. Otherwise, it's not that uncommon that some bosses have two 'halves' that use different sprite palettes, in certain games, and while I haven't spotted it in Megaman games, i'm sure it exists. Thinking Plantman...
But yeah, Megaman's face shares the palette with his bullets, his life bar, and his body changes colors independently. I know what you've tried to do here with the sprites and colors, but it's amazing how things are structured differently when using a tile viewer...
And since you're making characters like RainbowMan, I don't expect to follow these rules for everything you do, really... It's up to you, but I have a pet peeve about it.

I'll probably do a pass on the objects in the game to try and make sure there are not too many colors. I'll probably leave the chracters as they are though...

Like I said, as long as what you're doing is not FOR the NES, everything should go unnoticed. Though to my eyes it hasn't, I'm sure no one would bother to have a look themselves.

I can't wait to play your game when it's finally out. Rainbow Man's my favorite of the bunch. I guess I just like rainbows.
Oh! Are you going to include any of the concept art of the Robot Masters in the cutscenes? I sure hope so!
But hey. I wanna create a classic Megaman fan game some day. Maybe one day you could give me a few pointers? If I do create the Megaman fan game, you mind if I feature Rainbow Man in it?
Lastly, shouldn't Rainbow Man's colors change so that he has the full rainbow of colors? I mean change colors like Galaxy Man's colors did?
Also, I'm planning on a Robot Master named Aurora Woman. She fires a rainbow laser that can freeze foes. It works similar to the Chill Spike in function, but moves like a laser weapon. It doesn't bounce off of walls, though, but I might include a special type of block that the laser can bounce off of or interact with. Maybe a Prism Block which if the laser hits allows the rainbow laser to travel in four different directions... She also has the ability to create a colorful flash that stops time. I'm probably going to use the MM7/MM8 style graphics so that I have a wider range of palettes to chose from. Plus, I love shading when making sprites.
Or I might do the 8-bit style (in shape), but with the shading and palette of 16-bit. Which might be fun.
I have a question: are any enemies from previous Megaman games (not counting bosses or midbosses) going to appear in this game? Or are they all new enemies?
