It says 2015 but these were designed 2 years ago in 2013.
So I was going through some pretty old sketches and I found these babies. They were an idea for a fire starter family way back when and wow, I forgot all about them Β
So, watcha think? Did I have something good from way back then?

These are really cool! They're based off deep sea vents, right?

Maybe a little of it, but the last one is based on volcano mountain island chains, namely Krakatoa.

these are pretty awesome! it's a bummer becuase fire turtle has been done (torkoal) and turtle starters have been done (turtwig) but i still think it works really well. i love the evolution of the line, the back feet especially for some reason lol but yeah the body shape, the evolution, the colors, the concept. it's really good. keep it!

Thank you FF! Actually that was my inspiration to make these my starter, b/c we already have a Water and Grass turtle starter, I rounded it out and made a fire one! The concept itself slowly made its way into my mind luckily~ and I think I wanna do more sketchy final work, since my long term goal is to paint all my fakemon even greater than the Wilt Bouquet one I did :3
