Actually, I'd only see Malva as the Team Flare Boss for the first half of the next games...until it's revealed that Lysandre actually didn't die(in fact, during its final shot, the ultimate weapon actually malfunctioned and went back to its original purpose, making him immortal just like AZ and his Floette).
Malva, you foolish woman...Team Flare was never meant to be under your command.

Maybe he didn't die, but I think if he does return he'd probably come to the realization that he was wrong and tell Malva it was a bad idea reforming Team Flare. Malva definitely would be leader all the way through the main story but disband Team Flare after you defeat her and beat Zygarde :3

This is awesome. I have always wondered if Malva would take over as the leader in the 3rd game. She seemed too uninvolved in XY. I always thought that she fit in the Flare vein thematically, but I felt that having her in the Elite Four and then not being an inportant member of the team seemed odd. I really hope this happens, along with another theory I read for Pokemon Z (or whatever it is) which would be going back in time to the era of AZ, 3000 years ago.
