Hey guys! Been a while again, huh? Well work's been plaguing me as always, but in between times, I managed to watch the highly recommended show "Steven Universe", and I have to say, it's a very good show, one of the very few shows out there that have my attention that isn't an anime! I knew I had to draw something to show this show my liking, and then I began to experiment and lo and behold, I can now confidently turn a sketch into a lineart instantly! Yup! This was all a sketch, photographed with my phone camera and turned into lines ready for colouring. Not bad if I do say so myself ;D

This is a doodle I made with the context "What if Jasper (One of the series' main villains) stumbles upon Connie (Steven's love interest / best friend) when Jasper was after Rose's sword to get to Steven himself?" Let's just say this is a scene that I definitely don't want happening in the series. But after seeing scenes like Steven contemplating breaking up with Connie to protect her from any danger (Oh cliche superhero action! XD), it really does make you wonder if something like this would happen as a kind of "Told you so!" moments D:

So, how do you like this little prototype art style? I think it's awesome, since I can use my inks really fluidly and not rely on the clunky photoshop linearting that I'm still not used to. And what do you think? I really wanna do some more Steven Universe fanart! Lots of what ifs and awesome characters to draw and lots of paper and pencils to keep it up!
