Nadia doesn't speak much, mainly due to her home life--the only Pokémon she avidly talks to is Vatra. She is vain in her intelligence, quick to point out mistakes or simply give needed information. She is often a pretty cheerful and adaptable Pokémon regardless of if she is speaking or not, having a good-hearted nature. She is often undaunted and, the only Pokémon who truly scare her are in fact her siblings.
Nadia is quick to help those in need and will not give up on what she believes in, even if it is a lost cause. She is easy to upset though, but she refuses to show it, often hiding it behind a mask of cheer.

Backstory:
Nadia grew up in a busy family of Absol as the youngest, making life a bit of a struggle between dodging large siblings and avoiding from getting stepped on--literally. Born into a family of four elder sisters and three elder brothers proved a challenge, especially since her sisters were irritable over the attention she often got. As a young cub, she was smart and preferred mind over matter, always reading. That's why her parents expected her to head into the Researcher field, to promote her knowledge.
One day, her mother grew suddenly very sick so her father took her to get help, leaving her in the care of her sisters. Her sisters took this as an opportune time to pester the little absol and, when she bit one of them, they flung her off. Airborn, she hit a wall hard and broke part of her horn, causing her sisters to panic between themselves; their father would be furious! A few days later, Father had returned and said Mother had left. Nadia knew it meant she'd died, though didn't say it. Their father didn't note they had harmed little Dia, distraught over the loss.
Due to this, their torment continued until she grew sick of it and ran off when she became an adult. However, someone stopped her in her tracks as she was leaving Andalusst. She ran into a Flareon who seemed lost, so she offered to help him around. He softly agreed and she did, chatting softly as they walked the streets together.. And, for once, she truly felt happily, enjoying his company. For him, she chose to stay in Andalusst.
Just recently, they both decided to join the Explorers Guild as a team, neither one as a leader but equal.

Personality: Vatra is a very careful and cautious mon because of his upbringing. He is also very curious about things, which may get him in trouble if he doesn't think before he speaks. He's got great perseverance and never gives up. He sees the brighter side of every situation and though he's somewhat timid, he's kind to all. He never acts superior and is quite the modest Flareon. He gets either excited or serious when talking to Nadia.

Backstory: When a Flareon gave birth to her Eevee child, her mate did not like the outcome. He growled and raged and slashed at baby Vatra, who was unable to protect himself. His mother blocked the attack, breaking her jaw and losing sight in one eye because of it. She snarled and shouted for the pokemon to leave, which he did, muttering that he would come back to finish what was started. Always afraid of that threat, she moved to a house on the outskirt of Andalusst, where she raised Vatra. He always wanted to leave the house, but his mother told him that it was far too dangerous, and even said it after she gave him the object required to evolve. He was saddened by this, and continued staring longingly out of the window. One morning, while his mother still slept, he scrawled out a note to his mother that said he wanted to see the town, and the world. He nuzzled her mane and then left the house, quietly and cautiously.

When he was finally out, he ran straight for the city and whooped with joy, and when he had ran as quickly as he could run, he realized he was approaching the entrance. Slowing his pace to a walk, he entered, looking around timidly and being careful around all of the strange pokemon. He was practically overwhelmed and confused at the various sights, and he didn't know where to go at all. Then, an Absol approached him and offered him help, which he graciously accepted. He instantly liked her and while they walked, he found it easy to talk to her and fill the silence with words. Nadia was his first friend, and they became an Explorers team, equally sharing all the says and responsibilities of being on a team.
