[--Sorang Anghel--]Deep within the woods, a fox angel is waiting for you to come with her...
"...if you're doing art, you must face your weakness. Because once you face this in your job, you won't be able to accomplish it," that's what my professor said in my school.
Those words that I can't argue with. It's true, you must face your weakness in art in order to succeed becoming an artist.
My weakness is this. Realism. It might not be that good, but atleast I did try hard.
Sorang Anghel is the tagalog word for "Fox Angel".
Took me a while to think up of a pose and the design. But I decided to go simple and draw away.
I'm also thinking if I should continue making these kind of art. =3
Drawn on 9" x 12" Oslo Paper and took me 2 days to finish this. I used 0.5 Mechanical Pencil and a Thick Pencil.

Ever heard of an artist named *darknatasha ? 'Cause this looks exactly like her work - and she does a heck of a job specializing in this stuff! It looks so similar, in fact, that for a second I actually thought this was a modified version of one of her deviations - as if you'd de-colorized it for her or something. Awesome job!

IΒ΄d like to know what your teacher and you meant by that quip - ItΒ΄s true I donΒ΄t know your class and your teacherΒ΄s standarts, but this picture look just awesome! The left arm look faulty a little bit, but thatΒ΄s all I can say about this picture.
ItΒ΄s a very wise opinion your teacher had though. Must remember it.

This is a very beautiful drawing and a new fav. for me. But not realistic at all.

Yeah. Hell, the best thing I've ever draw started out as an anthro fennec fox, and then spun off in a totally different direction (here's the drawing: [link] ). So things can also look much better than you expected, but not be the thing you wanted to draw.
The point is, something may look perfect compared to the other things you've drawn, but not have the drawing go as planned.
