[A Comic : The artist and the character]A short silent comic...

Well, actually I was bored a day ago. But I decided to do something unusual.
This is a short slightly-silent comic about how the artist express his feelings through art. Kinda cliche, but yeah. I was kinda embarrassed how I drew the 3rd to the last panel. <_<;

Took me a day to finish this (and my hand is kinda tired.) I used 0.3-0.4 signpen and 0.5 gelpen for the line-art.

i worked on a a comic based the same, exact idea. i drew up a long page just like this back in '03. You can find a few follow-up comics in my dA gallery. 'cept the characters were feline. Don't worry about the "why furries"" and "why drawings?" comments. A "fantasy" is something unobtainable; and that, this is. People who can't see this simply have no imagination.

Jesus Christ; I think when I looked at the landscape panel, I was actually in that field for a moment. I fucking love that panel. It's like you just closed your hands over my eyes for a minute, and then plucked them out numb, throwing them as hard as you could into the open sky.
And I don't even know why because the moment's gone now.

Is it so worth it to spend a few seconds of your life to criticize that which has taken someone else hours and hours of work? Even a petty, retarded remark like you've just made cuts into an artist's heart, and into mine as well when I see how idiotic people can be. So this person likes furries; so do hundreds of other people on the site. You're discouraging a part of that community that actually has the gift of drawing from doing so.

Yes, because then maybe next time it will be better I hope.
The drawing just looks empty, like it misses a lot of details, yes, maybe that's a style, but then I don't think it's working. The drawings don't make any effect of movement like comics should do. scenario has a nice idea but when it is so simple which ain't bad it should at least offer some other element to make the comic more interesting and fullfiling.
