"Ninja Ranger power, now!"

When the Rangers had new ninja powers bestowed upon them by Ninjor, they not only regained their ability to morph into the Power Rangers, but also the Ninja Rangers. While these robed forms lacked the protection of the Ranger suits, they allowed the Rangers to tap into the power of ninja, granting them various magical powers with which to battle Zedd and Rita's forces - Such as super speed, traveling underground, cloning themselves and even briefly growing to Zord size.

Despite these abilities, due to their lack of armor, the Ninja Rangers were usually only good for battling the Tenga Warriors and not full-blown monsters. Once Master Vile arrived and necessitated the creation of the Metallic Armor, the Ninja Rangers were all but abandoned.
