its hard to draw in general mang ;O;
i was really bad at drawing dudes, so i practiced really hard on drawing them *okay, i didnt really practice, but i drew more dudes*
then i got to the point *aka now* that i was satisfied with drawing menz
but now, i cant draw ladies no more
JUST... DRAW LOTS!! XD

its just really hard to develop ur own style

well it might look fine to another person, but it just doesnt look right to me XD
im just realllyyyy picky, and i think thats one of the things that helped me to improve
one thing that really helps is erasing and drawing over and over again til u feel satisfied with it
i learned that rather than finishing things off with 'oh it looks bad, but at least i havent lined/drawn, so im not gonna mess with it anymore', working on something repetitively til ur satisfied is better *v*

of courseeeee!!!
u support and compliment me too, and that makes me really happy ;w;
so this is the least i can do for u in return~

I will do that. LOL you like my style? I'm still changing it though? I don't even know how I developed a style. I think it's better to do it unconsciously. Thus the style is literally how you draw and not just someone else's style that you want to draw. I am changing my style atm but not to reflect something else's work just to change features that I don't like the way I currently do them. Developing a style like that is good because it's easy and takes the pressure off.

Hehe I am exactly the same I think all artists are. I think because we draw every mm of the image we know what we had trouble with and we know where all the mistakes are so we can never be completely satisfied. While in comparison other people can look at the picture in its entirely and not notice all the imperfections the artist sees.

I always finish a piece. idk I just can't give up on something once I've started it. For example that Sora full body picture was a huge experiment on a variety of things. It took me 4 days and I learnt a lot from it. If I did that same picture again it may only take 2 full days max.

Naw, not as much as you do for me~ You make my day frequently. And yeah I was looking at 9 month old stuff. Simply priceless. I can't believe I have really made that much of an improvement. I am planing on completing an improvement meme when I finish all the other stuff I owe

i used to try to mimic some manga artists style, but like... it didnt work out
then i just kinda drew on my own, and it kinda ended up as this XD
im still not fully satisfied with my style...

it was until couple of years ago, i understood wat u just wrote

if i do a pic and i see one little mistake, i used to just abandon it

LOL so figure out what you don't like about your style (for me it's the way I draw jaw lines...) And try to fix it. I found I was making their faces too wide //slapped. so now I'm making their faces slimmer. Also I didn't like the eyes I drew... They were too desu. //shots. Good luck fixing your style or whatever...

hehe I know what I'm talking about? That's a first. honestly I'm not sure when I made that realisation about myself as an artist.... I feel like I just know things sometimes and then I realise and go "Oh... well that's interesting." I'm a bit of an airhead sometimes...

You wish you had my motivation? ROFLMAO That's so funny. Besides art I have NO MOTIVATION. Art is my procrastination for other things. and I wouldn't call it motivation. Mostly I just forget what the time is and keep going... I forget to have lunch most days when I draw.... Yeah I should stop doing that. I feel sorry for all your orphaned artistic babies that you abandoned LOL

I will have to show you then LOL it might be terrible though OTL I'm not sure which deviation I want to re-try though. You have to get un-lazy do do one~ I would be interested to see your improvement.

then im back to being fine with it again...
