I’m not sure what is better; being fastened to a chain by society, or being restricted within the personal jail of an overactive mind. Essentially, if I were to ever go completely insane, I would be physically trapped within a hospital, while being mentally trapped in the same moment….(A prison, within a prison.) I don’t know if you have ever felt as if you had no emotion whatsoever. Basically, it as if a particular set of emotions have plagued you for so long, you wouldn’t be able to differentiate between a “normal,” day, and a “bad,” day. In a way, this is how I perceive these sensations, as there is no sadness or anxiety, because it is always there.

The focus turned out too soft, and this is why I am keeping the photo in a smaller view than I would have liked.
