Ive actually gotten used to the human statue's face, due to seeing it so many times.

Fun Fact: Because the Elegy can only be made of someone who died, why does Link's show up? Well, for those who don't know, at the beginning of the game when you chase Skullkid on Epona into the tree, Link falls right? Well while Link appears to have fallen onto a Deku flower, but in reality Link had actually died, or came very close to death when he fell down that hole in the tree. His soul/spirit/consciousness was teleported by Skullkid to Termina, the parallel world to Hyrule, also kind of like the afterlife. You may notice that many who died in previous Zelda games appear in Termina, like the two witches for example. And as to why Epona appears in Termina, well Skullkid did say he got rid of her, but he never said how.

So ya, that's pretty much the reason why Link has an Elegy, or Ben as he's apparently called. Well, it's my view on it anyway. ^^
