Mostly I had to reread the beginning of the chapter to catch the linkage to the last panel. After the amount of time from then to now, I kinda forgot that the chapter is a flashback. When read in one sitting, the flow is much more natural.
I also noticed your use the dodge tool in this particular comic, particularly on Shay's face in panel 4. I was wondering if the smaller brush was a stylistic choice or not. I always tend to use bigger, fuzzy brushes for my airbrushing.
I didn't want to bring this up without being invited since I didn't want to be overbearing.
