I have to admit, I'd be thinking what the man is. I mean, you can have romance anytime. A bear against batman is something you will rarely be able to witness. Unless you're batman and you have a fondness for fighting bears. Which I am not.

I think you're missing the point.
Jokes like that aren't funny, for a reason. You don't have to be a misogynist to make misogynistic remarks or implications. I'm sure the artist probably didn't realize he was being ignorant, or making a comic that's pretty bigoted.
Gender stereotyping isn't funny. Pushing the idea of gender roles isn't funny.

I completely understand the point that you're making (it is offensive to some women), but it's not always completely one sided like that. I doubt many people actually take things like this as offensive anymore.
And besides, it's the internet. You can't take everything so seriously, there will always be something that you don't agree with, it's no need to get worked up.
