- NICKNAME: Skippy ((Because in AC:WW, my character has that nickname. XD Why? I don't know. Animals are crazy. XD Although, I think the reason they gave me was that he could be seen everywhere in the town. I really don't know. He's had the nickname for 3 years. XD)), Bethie

- POKEMON / HUMAN: Zorua

- HOMETOWN: Opelucid City((White version)), Unova

- HISTORY: She was born as a result of the trainer of her parents trying to breed them to get a shiny Zorua. As she was not a shiny, the trainer released her soon after hatching. She stayed in Opelucid City, where she was hatched, and was frequently visited and taken care of by her parents who refused to abandon their daughter the way their trainer did.

No trainer in the city tried to take her in, as they were certain that a baby Zorua like herself could never be a stray, and also because her parents seemed very protective of her on their visits.

In her childhood, she constantly wondered why the trainer released her so early, and so she asked her parents one day, and they told her the truth. After learning what a 'shiny' pokemon was, Beth was hopeless to wonder what made a 'shiny' so much better than a normal pokemon. Unable to find a good reason other than their rarity, she grew to hold a strong resentment towards the trainer to have released her just because she wasn't a shiny.

This resentment led her to try to leave the city, to get away from other humans. On the one day that she ventured out into the wild, on Route 11, she was jumped by a level 47 Golduck on her first few steps into the tall grass. Just as the Golduck attempted to attack her, she was saved by her parents, who were both level 50 by then. She was taken back to the city, where she decided she would never ever battle. This decision caused her to never use any Battle Moves for any reason at all.

Seeing as she could not venture into the wild at such a young age nor avoid any danger, she decided she'd try to search for a home. Somewhere she can live in permanently, be safe, be happy, and not worry about being shunned by others as 'cruelly prejudicial' as her would-be trainer was.

Despite her search for a real home throughout the years, her only 'home' was whatever tree or shrub she could hide in or behind within the bounds of the city. She eventually decided that once she was brave and old enough to leave the city, she'd find a place to really call home. This became her lifetime wish.

She relayed this to her parents on one of their visits, and they agreed that they'd help her achieve that dream in whatever way they could. On her seventeenth birthday, her parents brought her some good news: There was a town called Pokette, not too far away, that was open for new residents. Overjoyed, Beth instantly made up her mind to move to this 'Pokette' town. With the help of her parents, she has managed to arrive to the town after several weeks of traveling.

- HOBBY: Painting/Drawing, something she'd do on the streets of Opelucid City with berries and whatnot to pass the time when her parents weren't there with her.

- JOB: N/A, but she's considering to become a professional artist.

- FAVORITE FOOD: Ramen

- FAVORITE BERRY: Hondew ((Her parents would steal berries from their trainer's bag to feed their daughter with. The Hondew berry became her favourite as it has a dry, bitter taste with a hint of spiciness.))

- CATCHPHRASE: Ruuu

- ACCESSORIES: Three piercings((1 gold knob earring in each piercing)) on the outer rim of both ears, Black choker with a silver star pendant, Black fingerless gloves.

My application for #PKMN-Crossing . =w= I got tired so I didn't bother to shade it.

I chose Zorua since, at the moment, there aren't any in the group.

If you're wondering why her backstory is like that, with the breeding for a shiny and her being released due to being a normal, it's something that I've become extremely guilty of once I found out you could get shiny pokemon via breeding. OTL I breed the pokemon, hatch the eggs, and unless it's a pokemon I like a lot or is good for trading, I release any normal pokemon I get. Which can be A LOT depending on the egg rate. I'm horrible. OTL

I've always wondered what happen to them after I release them. I mean, these are baby level 1 pokemon. Newly hatched. And what about those released in an environment with high-level wild pokemon?((Like Beth's case?)) OTL ohgodi'msohorrible.

A lot of times, I return to somewhere that I hatched a such pokemon, and think about it. ((Hence in Beth's history, her parents got to visit her a lot.)) QMQ Ever since I realized how cruel I was really being, I began to train these non-shinies up to at least level 10, and release them in an environment suited for their level. It's true that I give certain aspects of games more thought than needed, but I can't help it. orz

So as a tribute for these level 1 pokémon that I released due to them being a non-shiny in whatever place they hatched, even at Victory Road and other places with pokémon whose levels might reach even level 60, I made Beth. ;-; As I said, I no longer do this, but I /did/ do it for a LONG time. orz And I'm sorry that I did.
