For those of you who don't know what it is then let me explain.

Sid the Science Kid (also known as Jim Henson's Sid the Science Kid) is an American CGI-animated children's television series produced by The Jim Henson Company in association with PBS affiliate KCET, that aired on PBS Kids from September 1, 2008 to March 25, 2013. Reruns continued on the PBS Kids Channel through June 25, 2023. The show is created using digital puppetry. Each character required two puppeteers working in concert, one performing the face and mouth using a remote manipulator or Waldo, and the other performing the body using motion capture.

The main character in the show is Sid, an "inquisitive youngster" who uses comedy to tackle questions kids have about basic scientific principles and why things work the way they do. He tries to answer questions and solve problems with the help of his classmates (May, Gerald, and Gabriela), Teacher Susie, and his family (his mother Alice, his father Mort, his Grandma Rose and his baby brother Zeke).

Because PBS co-owned Sprout when the channel was launched, they aired a variety of shows from both their archive libraries on Sprout, including reruns of Sid the Science Kid.

The show premiered on Sprout on March 25th, 2013, the same day as Sing It, Laurie, three days after Sprout's Wiggly Waffle dissolved, and a day after The Mighty Jungle stopped airing, airing at 1:30 ET. However, it stopped airing on Sprout on October 3, 2014, seven days before Boj premiered.

The description of the show was:

"Sid the Science Kid is an educational animated television series that uses comedy and music to promote exploration, discovery and science readiness among preschoolers. Sid the Science Kid features a practical in-school science curriculum and celebrates children’s natural curiosity about science in everyday life. The energetic and inquisitive Sid starts each episode with a new question (“Why are my shoes shrinking?” “Why do bananas get mushy?”) and embarks on a fun-filled day of finding answers with the help of family and friends."

Once again I couldn't find any screenshots or clips of the show airing on Sprout. So I decided to do a recreation of the show airing on the channel so that you guys will know how the show looked like when it aired on the channel.

Next time I'll do a recreation of Boj airing on Sprout.
