Description For the contest of the Fan Fave Princess Challenge .
Ariel was always my favorite princess, partly because the Andersen's Little Mermaid made me cry when I was six or seven. So this book means a lot to me. But Disney's interpretation of this beautiful novel is wonderful in all ways it could ever be. Growing up with this movie masterpiece made my childhood unforgettable.

I love how this is quite the treasure trove of textures and colors (literally and proverbially, I suppose ). Everything seems like it's really underwater and reacting to the light naturally as you would expect in a cave-type environment. And Ariel herself is simply gorgeous, it has the feel of a movie screenshot. Very nice.
