*Gasp* This is just. So. Beautiful. Β The lady looks very elegant in her gorgeous old-fashioned dress and bonnet, and the sea is such a dazzling myriad of blue hues. I really love the seaside lighting - so pleasant to the eye, and it's all so very charming with the way she's reading her book and the two sailboats are passing by in the distance as the waves gently lap upon the shore. The rocks have such interesting forms and textures too, and I like the inclusion of the algae. Everything is so lovely! I adore this depiction! Exquisite piece!
