yeah the color is actually all the sames white/red and shades of red. The key was a difference layer.

I love how the red hints at ultra-high gloss in places and yet also manages to look ragged and spidery It would be interesting to see it as red-on-grey too...

That is one of the most 3 dimensional fractals I have ever seen. Gorgeous colors, wonderful composition, texturing and sense of depth. It is perfect!

Extraordinary photo-realistic effect. Looks like a macro detail shot of a strange sea creature. I can even see the droplets of water still clinging to it. Very impressed. Advanced critique .... sorry, I really can't find any.
