Description "let me introduce you that thing which few confront....
listen to my voice, melorah, and i will take you somewhere....
you will travel without moving....and before you know it....you'll be somewhere else."
as luscia spoke, melorah could see the world shifting about her out of the corners of her eyes....
yet she did not let her attention faulter, drinking in luscia's every word....
"the one who takes the true weight of all your fixations....
the rug that you sweep your unthinkables beneath is woven of her viollet-scented flesh...."
luscia recited with excitement, " let me introduce you to my twin sister... zoe."
melorah let her eyes slip from luscia as the world was warped into a different place once more....
and to luscia's side stood the one called zoe. identicle with the exception of her strange wide eyes
and the monsters giggling from the darkness of her shadowy skirts.
"she is the caretaker of your monsters," luscia laughed, "you thought yourself somehow a victim of luck...
far from luck, dove. you have one who keeps your beasts at bay...
one who keeps it all reigned in....allowing you slow sips and small controlled bites...
trickles from the tap. she is a container, the recepticle for your insanity....keeping it always in check....
her eyes always on the gauges...watching the dials and turning the nobs....relieving the pressure."
"her eyes," melorah whispered, "her eyes."luscia found herself laughing again,
"she is the keeper of the fourth key....you keep her very busy....because despite
the calm exterior that washes your face your mind is a riot
of beautifully hideous things...so many monsters...........
sweet zoe's not slept in over twenty three years i'd say
.....that kind of lifestyle
is bound to have
its side-effects."

note: this story has roots in a pick called "rabbit holes."

also, i almost forgot. some deviants have been deeply inspiring to me lately:

I really like how the women are almost but not quite reflections of one another.
Gorgeously creepy, reminds me of Tim Burton, the Brothers Grimm or Lemony Snicket

You write like spiders spin silk: strong, mysterious, beautiful and intricate.

Very interesting composition. The simetry and the tones give the image a surreal look. Great work.

It's really really nice to see something that's different from you.
I can see how katherien has been inspiring to you. Mostly the symmetry of the piece.

My favorite bit of this is the sides...it looks like a distorted x-ray a bit...
