they watched in awe as the bride's once whitedress began to bleed itself to life
in shades of undulating pink...
persephone began to stir with this change,
shifting her body this way and that,
"i'm trying on my new skin," she whispered,
"and how nice it seems to fit. not like the old skin fit....
too tight, seeming sewn to suffocate...not at all like that...."
laughter burst from her form suddenly and she turned her masked
face to glare at edeana.
"my mind now has one thousand eyes with which to score the world...
and a thousand ears with which to hear it.....
i am aware now, friend edeana.
i am so aware....
and only you do i have to thank."

i think this is my favorite photo from this segment. every piece of the imagery here tells the story of the whole. absolute rebirth, and all the forms swirling together into a circlular composition is very fitting, metaphoric and attractive

Her dress looks like my new wig. You'll love it, once I get some pics! I love the atmosphere you captured in this, and that line "seeming sewn to suffocate" just grabs me by the throat. very very nice

lol. you rock! thanks for the great comment ..and yes, my dream is a career in art. devart is my online portfolio right now and i'm using it as encouragement. i have my eye on a couple more doll investments this year, so that's eating my extra funds right now. i want about two to three extremely realist dolls and these run a bit high in price. once i get those two and pay off some stuff, i'll be investing in a MUCH BETTER digital camera with a much higher picture resolution. i'll be able to afford that at the beginning of next year, maybe sooner. i plan to put together a really high quality physical portfolio with really nice prints and i'll shop that around to some of these local places in austin. austin has so many places to display art. from coffee houses to bars and, of course, a good handful of galleries. the galleries have waiting lists though, so i gotta do some research into that. but yes, a career is my goal. we will see if my plans work out
