This is my first time doing a Critique and I don't comment often but really like this work and wanted to just try out this feature. I enjoy many of your other works and this one seems to be a new style compared to the rest of your works.
First impressions: I love the character design and expression. Very warm and endearing. Your mastery of colors, texture and shading further enhance the character and provides depth to this 2D work. The pose/expression and colors grabbed me instantly from even the small thumbnail preview where I found it.
I gave you 5 stars for both Technique and Impact as they are the main reasons why I took a longer look at this work.
I only put 3.5 stars for "Originality" because it is so difficult to create an original animal character. So often they are inspired or quickly remind of us of an existing character.
I don't fully understand the "Vision" item compared to "Originality" so my 4 stars may not be a valid judgement as I'm using my same opinion from "Originality" to judge this.
Summary: A very professionally done animal character. Excellent expression, pose, color, texture and shading! Great mix of simple shapes with detailed textures.
