This is such a cute picture, in just one little scene it is able to show a whole story. It has characters that almost everyone knows but shows them in new and different way. It shows a young girl (red riding hood) going on an adventure and she has dragged her timid friend along for the ride (the big bad wolf). Or a different story depending on how you look at it. But what I love about this the most is how you use the fog and the sort of not finished path to show they don't know where they are going. Also the light, you show shadows and the water reflection, so many little details that make it seem as if its about to come you life. I believe that this deviation is great. I hope to see more of your work in the future. Thank you for sharing with us.

Then I clicked on it to see it closer up, and it's actually a well made Little Red Riding Hood drawing - I love the wolf's paroxysm of soul-melting fear.

Not only did I find this phenomenally adorable, but I also love the amount of detail and skill that went into this. Your use of contrast really enhances the darkness of the woods. I love how the blurred foreground and background focus the eyes on the two subjects. The off-centered placement of the subjects makes me feel a sense of movement, as they are continuing their walk forward into the woods. Little Red is whimsically following the butterflies, not even paying attention to how her path leads into the water. The wolf is right next to the border of the piece, and is looking off-screen, evoking a feeling of fear of the unknown, as we the viewers don't even know what lies behind the wolf. Neither of them are looking forward, but each has their own reason for diverting their attention, though they don't realize that time moves forward regardless of distractions, as does their path into some soggy clothes
