Hehe, once again a speedpainting turned into something more.....but it took way too long, I didn't get to work on it lately, because school and other things were sort of eating up my time, but now I am finally done. and I think I am quite satisfied with it, got a decent amount of detail into this and quite enjoyed the painting process. except for the bridge. and the stairs. oh, the rocks were quite an effort, too. and the....

Well I'm not qualified to give a critique but I know what I like and I like this. It oddly reminds me of the forest at home in Alberta which at night has a magical quality to it and this picture makes me remember that.

You know, the detail you put into your work - even this 'speedpainting' really gets me. I'm so impatient when I paint usually, but have to say after looking through your pieces I will certainly be trying harder to try and come close to the effects you get - there's always such a potent atmosphere!
