Description Hehe, once again a speedpainting turned into something more.....but it took way too long, I didn't get to work on it lately, because school and other things were sort of eating up my time, but now I am finally done. and I think I am quite satisfied with it, got a decent amount of detail into this and quite enjoyed the painting process. except for the bridge. and the stairs. oh, the rocks were quite an effort, too. and the....

I hope you enjoy it, as usual, the print will be up soon!

Another great image. I like curious contrast between such dark colour and the hardness of stone framing such lush and green a scene. The woods and the moss in particular look lovely. The waterfall though is a bit odd. It doesn’t quite look like falling water, more like silken strands. But despite that it's still wonderful.

(Ausnahmsweise in Deutsch) :

Daniel

Nur "auch" deutsch? Was ist Dir denn (hier) lieber?

danke dir!

You know what, this is really gorgeous. I have seen it already, but never got to leave a comment on it.

The thing I personally love most is the green. I just love how it seems to glow from the background (and of course, highlighting the person crossing over the bridge).

The water looks amazing! Very realistic to say the least. The entire image is beautiful. Reminds me of something from Lord of the Rings, but I'm probably not the first to say that

Great work, Daniel.

well lord of the rings is certainly a huge inspiration to me in general, but I don't think I really thought of it when I did this painting
but nonetheless I am very glad that you enjoyed it and yes, into the water I put a lot of effort sheesh, that's proven quite difficult at times

Thanks hun
