Batman and Robin issue 13, alternative cover, by me
Joker has just returned in the increasingly good Batman and Robin series, and when I saw the cover (here - [link] )of the latest issue, I thought it was a cool image that would look good in my style.
This was a lot of fun, and Joker's RIP look is always good to draw. I also modified the logo so the letters overlap the bat symbol.

Batman and Robin started after the 'death' of Batman, all about Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne. Joker returned in issue 12/13, and his story just finished in issue 16, so this all happened over the summer. I expect it'll be in paperback form soon, it is a major story

i know i just love the art in general and damian is such a badass and cute too lol and Dick as batman is like the ultimate 'what if' scenario i think people were waiting to see for a long time

Thank you, I actually drew this before the issue was released, I just thought the original cover was a cool concept. The Damian Wayne Robin beating up a cuffed Joker is very in character, too XD

but isnt it the other way around? joker hitting ROBIN with a crowbar (lol crazy clowns XD), also is damian related to bruce? I haven't been able to really read the comics although i would love to

Generally, yes, but this is based on a specific scene, there's a link to the original cover in the description
Damian Wayne is Bruce's son with Talia Al Ghul. He may have been grown in a lab, and Bruce only found out recently. He was trained as an assasin by Ra's, and is much more violent than previous Robins, hence the crowbar XD

After RIP, Joker disappeared, and has just now resurfaced. This book won't be out till July now, so we'll have to wait to find out where he's been since then

Well, I read R.I.P , and I think it's him who killed members of Black Glove, after this story . You remember, the Hunckback mentionned it , when the Cardinal was killed .

Well in issue 12 ie directly before this, we learn that the whole of the Black Glove has been killed, by "him", and if I remember, Joker did promise he would

That's right , and Joker is "a man of his word " ... So he had to travel the world to killing all of them !! *wolf call* Not bad for a man who recently returned to the death and all the problems that he had (handicaped etc...).

Wait, it's been delayed? It's going to be interesting to see how they explain the whole Joker reappearance, which didn't make a lot of sense really

Perhaps that's WHY it's been delayed. Enen though I suspected whatshisface was the Joker, I imidiately found reasons NOT to believe it after it ended up being true.

I know, it seems to make no sense, except to involve Joker in proceedings. Still, Grant Morrison writes the best Joker dialogue bar none, so I'm not complaining
And I'm suspecting the delay is an art thing, but who knows?
