Custom Painted Age of Extinction Voyager Grimlock
Full length look at my repaint of Grimlock from the new movie. This figure is pretty cool, even if his proportions are a little out on the dino mode. Not as bad a the leader class proportions, but still.
This is done with enamels using two shades of grey/silver, with bronze, copper and green added to give his 'skin' texture.
I think he looks much better for it, and anyone who has this figure should at least consider giving him a fresh coat of paint
Oh, and I'm working on Evasion mode Optimus Prime, too

No, not really, but I think that the instructions with the figure are slightly wrong
Look on youtube for peaugh or optibotimus to see the tranformation done properly

My grimlocks Dino head won't go together fully.

You mean as the last step of transformation?
All I can suggest is to watch some youtube reviews and follow their steps. Like I said, optibotimus usually shows transformation both ways
