Just a quick sketchI just got 'The art of Tim Burton', an awesome book which chronicles hundreds of professional and personal artwork by Tim Burton, and felt inspired to draw this.
Quite different from my usual colours, I also did Edward Scissorhands in a similar style [link]
I possibly overdid the blood, but I feel this looks okay for the time it took. And I ran out of space for the feet, but decided to leave it as is.

I love the stylization, no need to draw things proportional, the expressive lines are just perfect.

I'm usually an detail oriented person, but I think it's also good to do the quick stuff. I was skimming through your gallery and this just happened to catch my attention, I think because it was so bold. You have to get up lose to a work to noticed the details but a drawing like this can be eye catching from far away, it's a good thing to think about.

The blood is a really lovely touch and I think it's just cool to see you doing traditional art in the first place.

Thank you, it's a great book, if there's a Forbidden Planet near you, they'll probably have it, that's where I got mine. It is expensive though

Start with a faint pencil outline, then ink with loose lines
Oh, I'm not saying you NEED to try something new, just doing this was a nice break from my usual style, and you might ppreciate doing something in a different style for a change
