It is indeed a daffodil. It's one of the kinds that are called doubles. Those are my favorite. I'm not sure of the spelling but the variety was something like elicheer.

I've a number of different daffodil snapshots I took. The problem was I didn't get out when their blooms were a bit past their peek. I might put a couple more up, anyway.
