Yay, great tut o3o
But if I use brush tool, the image changes on all of frames x_O Do you know: why? I would like to make a animation frame-by-frame, but I can't ._.

Sorry, my English isn't very good, but anyway:
I made a couple of frames. On the first, I made a new layer and i drew a image. I "went" to second frame, and it was the same as first- two layers, two the same images. And when I draw anything on the second frame, on the first it was too x_O But when I use move tool, I can move elements, and it show only on the active layer.

okay^^ i think it's because you must draw everything on the first frame and then creat new frame and only move and hide/unhide what you want to get on your next frame, i'm not sure it's what you ask but the first frame is a bit different than the other you creat next, for exemple if you move something on the first frame all the next frame already created will move too, and this not happen in the other frame than the first one

if you have photoshop cs2 or older you need to click on the go to imageready button, i show how to do it in this other tutorial i made : [link]
if your version of photoshop is cs3 or 4 you can do it in photoshop, to get the animation tool you have to clik on "window" and then choose "animation ( i'm not sure for "window" because mine is in french ) then it will open the animation box in photoshop.
then for both it's the same way to animate

I now have gimp
But I still don't get how you do it

MenInASuitcase In reply to Devil-man-josh [2009-03-11 19:24:52 +0000 UTC]
it work because you can hide and unhide and move layers on the file in the different frames on the timeline which creat an animation^^

Thanks again

yes, you could try to delete the little white thing over the red one, it could work
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
skyleaf In reply to MenInASuitcase [2009-03-12 11:36:44 +0000 UTC]
The thing is I don't even know where the white thing comes from. I think it maybe is from the program that I've used to animate the avatar. I made the frames with the emoticon in Photoshop and then I loaded them in an other program, and added the writing. I'll see what I can do, but I've gotta find some spare time first. College is getting way over my head
