I love these! They are very well done! But I have one question, how to you post the emoticons as emoticons? Like say I make a green chinchilla emoticon, but how to I make it as :chinchilla: and my green chinchilla pops up?

As for the Adobe imageready, is there a link you could give me to download it? I've looked for it online, but it says it's a discontinued programme...

Thanks a lot for the tutorial!
BTW, it's OK to create the animations at Photoshop, right? I mean, I could just animate the emoticon at PS

LeoLeonardo In reply to Sergeant-Traveler [2010-05-14 16:53:47 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, they added the feature to animate right away in PS a while after I wrote this tutorial, so just stay in PS and ignore the ImageReady part.

Alright sir, because I did the animation part in PS.

oh by the way i have a problem, when i click my pencil tool and draw something (like an emote)it just ruins my drawing two pixels.

LeoLeonardo In reply to Minato-arisato-kun [2010-05-10 11:04:01 +0000 UTC]
There's probably something wrong with the pencil tool then. Make sure you have the correct brush selected for it. It should only be the 1 pixel sized one.

Hi there!
I love your tutorals and I want to use your tutorals to make emoticons.
Here is a question: does this work in Paint.Net??
I don't have Photoshop, so I have to use Gimp 2 or Paint.Net for it.

I've got this problem with ImageReady whenever I duplicated a slide on it and then I try moving the hand etc, the first slide moves too, so it renders every single slide the same.... am I doing soemthing wrong? Or do i have something ticked that im not spose to have ticked?
