I've bought a few to that end, but I don't have the heart to rip them apart so I'm doing what I can eyeballing them from the outside. ^_^;; Good to know that worked for you tho!

I didn't rip mine open either. I just put crumpled paper over it and traced where the lines are. I imagine it's probably easier to pin fabric over it instead and draw, but I'm a cheapo

Ahh, I don't think that's cheap, that's frugal to not waste fabric until you have the pattern the way you want it! I've started buying cheap interfacing and making doll clothes patterns out of that because it's more like fabric when I drape it on the doll, I get a better idea how it will fit before I try it with actual fabric. ^_^;; I actually only started doing that this last month, and I feel a lot less guilty about cloth wastage. >.>;

Lol, it's not wrong. I could've easily made the head detachable if I sewed velcro on both sides, but my friend wouldn't have liked that
