Description
Color version done by painting watercolor over a black ink print. I originally imagined it with this color theme~
The last theme for my print-making projects was "Fragments". We could either do an image that related to to the word or fragment the plate itself, which I did both because I still apparently like making things harder for myself. Not to mention all the details in the smaller plates lol. The idea came from an unfinished work originally meant for drawing class a year ago. Basically the girl is kinda representing me, with pieces missing from where her heart would be. Those pieces are located by things that are important to me (which are the 6 smaller plates). There are actually 7 spaces for where the "heart" is, to signify that I still feel like there is a missing piece in my life before I can feel complete.

Maybe comparing it to a Horcrux was the wrong analogy haha all in all it's a very touching piece that I'm sure many people can relate to

As for the missing piece, I am unsure of it myself. I haven't thought about it that way but you may be right! Thank you for the insight, I guess time will tell.

Really amazing, it's like the pieces are of an everyday life. It's like a trace in some way. It's hard to describe but great art work too
