1 It is simple, not that hard to see. It is Mephiles vs Shadow, no wtf. Look at the picture itself
2 Is it really worth it to go to a person's picture and call it gay, when you know that the artist themselves worked hard on it?
3 It was a base request far back. Look at the date, then decide to actually comment.
4 How would you like it if I went to an old picture of yours and called your art gay and recolored? I assume you wouldn't like it, so why do it to another.

I don't usually hate, but this is depressing to me.
(the reason i felt free to insult it, was due to the fact this is a request, and BECAUSE of the fact it was old, I would not have done it if this was done to your free will.)
I do not like this picture because this is originally a scene where Shadow was showing off his skills -vs- Sonic. (Shadow is my favorite character, so of course I may tend to be over reactive to it.) The scene is NOW turned to a point where Shadow is now the weakling, and Mephiles is standing over him. This is rather annoying because this is the only main part of Sonic X where Shadow appeared, and now this recolor is "ruining" it. I do not mind other pictures, originally created to show Mephiles as superior to Shadow. (though I still don't like them, but I keep it to myself.) However this is very annoying since this scene belongs to Shadow.

To 5: I commented on it because I don't get the reasoning for doing this. Reversing the scene... I guess I'm just too much of a Shadow Fan.
p.s. I'm staying home sick, and I posted that comment in the morning, so perhaps my judgement was off. I don't think if I commented on it right now, I would have said that so bluntly.

- -_- oh this crap? Mephiles is an official character and not a recolor. PS Sonic X in itself was a fail sonic series. It only "recolored" and "replaced" the original happenings of the games previous to it. It wasn't original at all. Not to mention the voices were bad, the acting a bit corny, and the relations in it were off. So overall I think you shouldn't freak over it. It wasn't directed to you in anyway like you are pulling it out to be.

- -_- no it doesn't. This scene doesn't "belong" to shadow. In fact he had an appearance before this scene and if you want to be legit, you should prefer to the sonic game Sonic Adventure 2 and use that for "Shadow's scene". Not a cheap 4-kids rip off series.... You are just again, taking it too personal.

- People like my art, people want me to do a picture for them, I follow the clients request, client is satisfied. That is the way how the world works. If you get commissioned you have to follow the commissionee's request.

- There are many bases on this site that are a copy of a scene form sonic x. There was one I saw that it was Sonic in Shadow's place using this same picture, and Shadow was actually beaten up. So cry to them, not me.

How good or bad Sonic X is doesn't really have to do with this. I personally like Sonic X. What exactly does that have to do with this picture or what I think about it? It is Shadow's scene. The SA2B section of Sonic X is clearly Shadow's main role in the whole series. And I hardly see any recolors of 3D screenshots. .. Hardly, I know people still try for some reason.
You all forget Sonic X is actually made for kids, it's not like the show is going to talk about drugs and sex and curse like a sailor the whole time. Kids shows are very different from older shows and that's an obvious fact.

Well again don't like don't comment. I think it was good for that time. Calling a picture horrible is a reflect of equal feeling to an artist. All artists are like that.

- Dude have you seen the original Japanese version of Sonic X? Chris is beat up and bleeding because of Shadow. You see Maria actually being shot and bleeding out. 4kids censored all of that. They took away the meaning of why Shadow is called Shadow.I don't prefer adult shows btw, but still.

I don't like it either. I was complaining to my girlfriend about it one day. I don't get why censor blood and such. It's not like a child has never seen blood. 2 Well you may need to help out with the Shadow obsession. If you are acting to people this way about a fictional character... then that is kinda sad. Defend what you like, but acting out in this way is immature. And yes Shadow has been defeated before, and at points is weaker. A character without a weakness is weak.

In the end the way you responded to my picture is immature and rude. If I was to call you and your whole gallery a piece of crap or gay, you would be mad too. Shadow is just a character in a videogame, not real. Don't fight for something that you know as a definite to be fake. You have all the right to like it, but don't spaz out over it. My picture is old and in that time was good. The picture is still good, for a basic factor. You have to accept that Shadow can be defeated and that he is weak in this pic. Mephiles can be stonier at points.
If I find you insulting my art again in a non constructive way then I will report it.
Remember whatever you call something if a reflecting of yourself. If you don't like don't comment.
