When water surrounds you entirely, your body weight feels much lighter. Also the way you take in sound is so different, very numb. Like the water is a barrier separating you from everything that's happening on the surface. It takes away your sight, touch and hearing. And your breath. That's why the underwater experience is always limited, makes you want to dive in again and again and again, just because you can't stay long enough to ever grow tired of it.
