really nice blend in texture and color. I've been looking at many of these that you create and am trying to figure out how you do this. Sometimes it is by blending two textures (or more) I am thinking. It gives them such a nice dynamic organic feel that you wouldn't have otherwise. I am trying to think through why I like them so much..

My overall technique varies quite a bit, but for the most part I combine several textures using different blending methods. A lot of it is just trial and error, experimenting.
For each texture I use something between 3 and 10 different photos, all taken myself.
Maybe you like them because they aren't inspired by anything in particular, they emerge from a feeling. They always do.
