Description
I made a making of texture 254, just because it was fun starting off with something, well, unexpected.Related content

I am not sure if "helped" is the right word . But it was so very inspirational! I am off on a weekend of photoworkshops, trying out new things and I can't wait to use some of your textures when I come back. I will definitely share and let you know.
What I am wondering is when you call an image a "texture" and when you call it "abstract art". I feel that some of yourΒ images are wayyyy more than "textures". They are definitely the most elaborate "textures" I have come across. Just love your work.

If it was inspirational, that's even better. I'm glad either way
Well, you have a point there. Personally, I consider my textures artworks that just have been given the option of being worked into something else by others. It's amazing to see what others use my work for. As a self-named resources artist, I enjoy overstepping the line between art and resource and creating something that is both and also neither, really.
Anyway, thank you so so much. Your feedback means a lot!

Stepping out of your comfort zone again with this base image, yes? I love it! I completely support the idea of using an image of a car & garbage cans.

Thank you so much and sorry it takes me so long to reply at the moment, I haven't felt much motivation to visit deviantart lately.

It's ok, I totally understand. Β I guess the changes to dA don't bother me as much, considering I barely remember what the old dA used to look like? I still feel like I'm new to the site, because I'm always finding out new stuff to do on here. *shrugs*

Well, just this once Normally I don't start off with pictures like that, was a bit of an experiment
I wanted to see if I could pull it off.
Yeah, sure! I'd love to see what you come up with.

Oh I see, but it was still pretty cool! You did pull it off!

Hihi, same here, I do have some sketches lying around that would look cool with a texture and some digital colouring! XD

Oh, goodness. I mean, I could tell they were pretty intricate from the end result, but I had no idea really how they happen. The process almost reminds of how some abstract painters create.. There can be layers of so many different images in one finished piece Β
