Very impressive! Were/are you inspired by Alphonse Mucha at all? I see some slight similarities between your art and his. Faces, poses, fabric. Not anything like ripoffs, just subtle similarities that may hint to an inspiration by him. He's one of my favorite artists, so that's why I'm curious

Cool! That's awesome! I can stare at his paintings and posters for ages and try to figure out how he draws that fabric etc. I had the same feeling with this picture!

Not much business for a leprechaun in that corner of the garden then.

I'm loving these yuletide pieces, and I spy the green man in the corner there! The colors are a lovely combination. Very much in the season.

Thanks^^ I like sticking little greenmen in there. They are in my 2 dragon paintings too. But sometime I need to do just a plain large greenman pic.

Haha, that's pretty hilarious (read the comments below). I noticed the green man but not the squirrels. I'll have to look for them in the dragon paintings. Didn't notice them there.

That is simply stunning!! What a beautiful portrayal of Yultide - it's nice to see a version without the fluff-lined clothes and with a Greenman lined with ivy to boot! Again, her gown is devine; I love all the touches of holly on her gown and on her headress, you did a very good job of making it look like a crown. And putting it all on a snow white backdrop emphasizes her all the more. A wonderful composition!!

My exuse is faerie folk must not feel cold because I keep painting them in the snow without shoes on. I'm glad you like the dress. That's a little funny because what I did was take a couple yards of fabric and a large scarf, wrap it around me and take a reference shot

lol Well, it certainly gives a lovely picture with her! I love long flowing gowns - and a few yards of fabric and a large scarf will certainly accomplish that look!!
