Sonic turned into a ball is just and threw into a basketball hoop is one of the cutest things ever.
I am not sure if he enjoys this.
If I were into this comics I would to roll near to him, get back from ball shape to normal and give a hug to Basketball Sonic and hold him in my arms for a very long time.

Because being squished by someone stronger can be kinda umcomfortable, your legs and arms being twisted.

I always find it weird that Shadow gets inflated in Author's requests, he's the last character I expect inflated...
Wonder what happens next? Revenge inflation perhaps?

He likes Shadow and Tails. That's why he want's to see them inflated. Their models are also easy to inflate :d

Yeah, Author gave me the Sta.sh folder that Juaco gave him so he can peer review it... Well, the entire Space Jam sequence anyway, he apparently wanted it to be longer with multiple sequences
