I'm not sure if I've ever been more pleased with a photo. Taken just after the previous post (hence the "2") It was one of a sequence of rapid fire shutter releases. So you get a before and an after with these two shares. (hand-held) Wildlife photographers know this happens "in the blink of an eye." You snooze you loose. I was trying the back button focus option and the "zone" focus area,. The back button focus requires a change in muscle memory for my right thumb and its not instinctual. My expectations were extremely low. I don't know if this quality of photo is a result of the changes or if I was just "lucky." Anyway ... I'll take it and leave it as is, .. for now.
