Description This photo is a part of the Gano Buildings Series.

Many, many years ago I can imagine this drive through in a grain elevator got lots of business. The 2x4 is an effort to hold up a collapsing room. (See another photo I've shared as view from the outside.):


There is very little machinery or dials or switches here. What there is can be seen on the right side. I have a picture of that space as well; the only other inside shot I took here. These were two buildings (technically three) that were located on what no doubt was originally a railroad siding. 
They sat in farmland, isolated from anything nearby. Several miles to the north is an unincorporated community called "Gano." I've made that the name of this series.

The green hose appears to be something recently used, for what purpose I don't know, and it slightly spoils the photo (IMO) but it is what it is. Perhaps if I didn't mention it you wouldn't have noticed it. I don't recall seeing it when I was there.  Oh well, ...
