The Tufted Titmouse is a common species in our area (I'm told.) Not being a birder (per se) I'm sure I've seen them on occasion, though not frequently. I couldn't readily identify it, like other birds I know well such as chickadee's and downy woodpeckers. A recent opportunity allowed me to get some decent photos of this flirtatious one; enough that I'm creating a gallery to share several of my favorites. Seen from straight on (here) their delightful rust colored sides aren't visible. Other shots in the gallery (as I add them) will reveal that particular characteristic. Thanks for viewing.
